The illustrations also provide opportunities for all students to connect with the text. Picture books are an amazing resource for teachers to use to address so many topics and are written in a way that makes difficult concepts accessible to children. Each month, teachers will share one common picture book to unite our school community. Weems Elementary School is launching the fourth consecutive school year of our Book-of-the-Month program.
